From the North, we'll travel into India's heartland - Madhya Pradesh. Your home for the next few days will be at a wilderness camp in luxury tented accommodation. You might be out in the wilderness - but there's no dearth of things to do here! You'll be surprised how busy your days can be and how time flies! Of course, you'll go on a forest safari and experience the wild side of India. There are guided forest walks to be taken and you'll probably be fascinated by the sheer diversity even during a few hours in the forest. We will venture out into villages close by, interact with locals, and get a glimpse of life in rural India.
The next stop is down South and we'll head to Goa, which is a state with many flavours. You'll experience life in a Goan village by the backwaters. But we'll also venture out into the north and south side of this very vast state. From discovering hidden sights and sounds, river walks and cruises, to some island cycling and bread making, there's a whole world waiting to be discovered!
I have been travelling in India for well over two decades and have over this time built up a lot of knowledge on how to navigate the country and find amazing and unique experiences. I spent many years as a travel blogger and discovering many different destinations in India.
As a cyclist, hiker and adventure lover, I've done many of these rides myself and will be there to help and guide you navigate these scenic and beautiful routes. From the tough and challenging Tour of the Niligiris in South India; climbing from Manali to Leh over the Khardungla pass and a week-long self supported cycling adventure in Goa, I have been lucky enough to have had some memorable experiences on two wheels. In 2024, I hiked in Uttaranchal, going up to 13000 feet.
I hope you'll join me for an adventure of a lifetime!
